Michael Murray

Michael Murray, age 59, is Senior Vice President of Circulation for the Company, a position he has held since October 2007. In addition to his circulation responsibilities, Mr. Murray also oversees the management group responsible for all publications in the Philadelphia and New York Clusters for the Company. Murray was named Vice President October 2002. He joined the corporate office in October 2001 as Corporate Circulation Director and has been with Journal Register Company since 1998 where he was the Circulation Director for the Daily Local News in West Chester, Pennsylvania. In early 1999, he was promoted to Circulation Director at the Delaware County Daily Times located in Primos, Pennsylvania. Mr. Murray has 40 years of newspaper and magazine management experience since beginning his career in 1969. His experience includes directorships at the Des Moines Register and Asbury Park Press and Corporate Director positions with Thomson Newspapers and Ingersoll Publications. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of DFM Associates, Inc., a Philadelphia based media company.
