Daniel M. Sarko


Daniel M. Sarko, age 37, is Senior Vice President of Integrated Sales where he manages the sales organization for the company's 324 multiplatform products. Mr. Sarko has extensive experience in local, regional and national sales both in digital and print marketing.

Mr. Sarko started his career in 1997 during his last semester at DeSales University working for The Morning Call, a Tribune newspaper, as an inside sales representative. He worked through the ranks to become the Vice President and General Manager of Interactive at The Morning Call and had total responsibility for online sales, product development, marketing, and content and website operations. In 2008, Mr. Sarko accepted the position as Vice President of Sales for Philly.com, the online division of The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News. Shortly after, he became Interim General Manager with responsibility for total digital operations.

In November 2009, Mr. Sarko joined Journal Register Company as Chief Digital Officer, responsible for the Company’s 200 plus websites and all of its digital operations. In May 2010, he was appointed to the newly created position, Senior Vice President of Integrated Sales to lead the Company’s multiplatform sales integration.

Mr. Sarko lives in Center Valley, Pennsylvania with his wife and four sons.
